Highlight: Down 6-3, Freccia and Howarth (Black Team) turn the tide of the match with two straight catches and a put-out at the 1:30 mark to flip the match in their favor. Black pulls off the upset victory with a 4-2 final.
Game 2: Gold Team defeated Black Team, ties best of three series 1-1
Highlight: The Gold team cruises to an easy Game 2 victory, putting down the Black team before the buzzer sounds with a 6-0 final.
Game 3: Gold Team defeated Black Team, wins best of three series 2-1
Highlight: A back-and-forth match settles at a 4-4 tie with two minutes to go. Both teams mix-and-match catches and put-outs and Black pulls ahead 4-2 with one minute to go. Freccia attempts to hit a basket and air-balls to Mooney, bringing the game to a 3-3 tie. Both teams trade outs and with 10 seconds to go the score is tied at 2-2. At the buzzer Hammond (Gold team) catches a Griffin throw, preventing an overtime period and eliminating the Black Team. With the win, Gold advanced to the Championship round (eventually losing 2-0) while Black played in the Third Place match (eventually winning 2-1).
